Folks, again this week, you have homework on the weekend. Write, on the back of your original, a revised open-ended reponse to the Mt. Fuji question. Be sure to include your original when you hand your revised copy in on Tuesday.

Even though Obama and Lincon are two very different men, they have very good points in the political views of the United States. First of all, they both wanted to stop war, Lincoln wanted to stop the Civil War and Obama wants to stop the war in Afghanastan. Secondly, both of them payed close attention to the racial issues that were going on. For example, Lincoln thought that everybody should be equal and that slavery should be stopped. Then, Obama wants the discrimination between African Americans and Americans to come to an end, so he's basically saying that he wants everybody to become one. Even though the world has changed since Lincoln was president, we still have most of the same problems that had back then too.
