Test Monday!

Alright, I told you all that I would provide some guidance for the essay question. I'll do better...

Here are the four essay questions.

1. Why did farmers sell their land to aristocrats and become tenant farmers?

2. What preparation did young men make taking civil service test during the Han dynasty?

3. What important feature do Confucianism and filial piety share?

4. If a young man failed the civil service tests given by Han, what could he do?

Looking ahead and an apology

I am sorry for not posting yesterday, however I think I have made amends.

Ok, for tonight, you will need to complete the timeline activity that you will receive in class today.

Also, lets not forget that there is a presidential debate tonight. I won't insist you watch it, it doesn't begin until 9:00, but you can be sure that we will discuss it a bit in class tomorrow. You might also want to follow the tone the campaigns are taking lately, because I would like to hear your reactions to what is happening.

Remember to gather your things for your autobiographical poster for Friday!
