Thursday: Read Chapter 14, section 1 on Medieval Japan, and answer question 7 on page 490.

If you are wondering what your child is up to in Social Studies lately, let me fill you in. This week we are in the computer lab working on websites about various native american tribes. Children are researching the religion, culture, technology and geography, and government of these tribes and will have websites up and running by the start of next week!

I will provide a link to the "mother site" before long and then you will be able to see your child's work firsthand!

Monday's Homework

OK...today you got your assignment for the Early American Cultures Web, but you also have homework today.

You must complete reading section 2 of chapter 16 in the textbook and complete the handout you received in class.
